Wow, this year has just flown by & we are in the home stretch of this Sunday school season!! We’re finishing learning about “The Walk to Emmaus” through art, games & science. First, we made our own giant footprints & wrote a variety of things people believe & do when they realize Jesus is alive & wants them to follow him. We will finish learning about the story using science & playing a game. Finally, we’ll be finishing the Sunday school year off with a volunteer Sunday & our traditional pancake breakfast!  Hope you’ll join us for all the fun!

We’re finishing this Sunday school year with our world mission!  Starting mid-April, we’ll be raising money for Heifer International through their “A Kid Can Change the World” program! This program will teach about the importance of generous giving while exploring how Heifer helps end hunger & poverty. We’ll also have our “animal banks” on the tables in the gathering space so the congregation has an opportunity to contribute to our world mission.

Preschool & Kindergarteners will be finishing the year with a lesson about the Road to Emmaus, Saul’s conversion & Paul’s shipwreck! They’ll be singing some fun songs, traveling their own road to Emmaus, making a “Light on Damascus Road” craft & having their very own boat races! There is so much fun & learning going on!
